Job Title: Product Owner - ICFP (Integrated Curriculum & Financial Planning)
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 p.a.

Role Description
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Product Owner to join our dynamic product team. In this role, you’ll be the bridge between customer needs and our development team, ensuring we deliver high-impact, high-quality solutions. You’ll report into the PO for the Planner family of Products and play a key role in shaping our roadmap, from managing a team of testers to driving product excellence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Requirement Management
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, refine, and prioritize product requirements.
- Translate requirements into clear user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria.
- Ensure alignment and shared understanding across development teams.
2. Product Development
- Partner with developers and UX Designers to deliver features and enhancements on time and to specification.
- Maintain and manage the development backlog and sprint planning.
- Monitor progress and ensure agile processes are followed.
3. Quality Assurance Leadership
- Lead and support a team of software testers.
- Define testing standards and provide feedback to improve QA outcomes.
- Ensure rigorous testing and high-quality product releases.
4. Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Align product backlog with strategic goals and customer needs.
- Collaborate with the Head of Product to define and maintain the product roadmap.
5. Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Implementation, and Support teams.
- Champion a collaborative, user-focused culture across the organisation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years in a Product Owner or Product Management role.
- Experience with school MIS software (ideally timetabling or curriculum management).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in B2B SaaS environments.
- Background in EdTech or education systems.
- Product Owner/Manager qualifications
- Accounting qualification (e.g., AAT, ACCA, or equivalent).
