Job Title: Junior Technical Consultant

Salary: £27,000 p.a.

Role Description:

As a junior member of the technical projects team, you will be supporting the team and working with our existing customer base on additional projects, this could include migrating, standardising and cleaning the various staff contract and budget planning information for new schools coming into the trust, or migrating customers data to align with new Chart of Accounts set ups. 

The primary tool used will be Excel and the maturity of the organisation and quality of previous systems will depict how standardised the incoming information is. You will work your way up to providing comprehensive support to customers throughout the process, understanding their challenges and defining the best methods to solve this using the software.

Key responsibilities:

• With support, serve as the primary point of contact for clients during their project phase
• Review the treatments that have been used within each school and in conjunction with IMP’s methodology and the clients’ needs
• Ensure the legacy data is migrated in a consistent way and the existing systems’ integrity is kept intact.
• Meet the budgetary requirements of the client

Skills, experience, and attributes:

• Excellent knowledge of Excel
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Teams
• Prior experience of finance system administration/implementation or school finances is advantageous
• You are an enthusiastic individual with a logical approach to problem solving
• AAT qual, QBE and Part-qual will all be considered.
